Majdalawi is a traditional Palestinian fabric and weaving technique that originated in the village of al-Majdal Asqalan. The fabric is known for its thick stripes and is made from indigo-dyed cotton woven on a single-treadle loom.

Majdalawi fabric was used to make traditional dresses throughout the south of historic Palestine. The style of the dress and the colors and motifs used in the embroidery indicated the wearer's region and other characteristics.
